This, my fifth sampler quilt, is different from my previous ones in that the background color is of a medium intensity rather than of a light intensity. Many of the patterns of the blocks in this quilt are my favorites. I especially love Sailboat and Galloping Star. I would like to make many of these patterns again, using a light or a dark background, to see how they turn out. The bright pink sawtooth-style border brings considerable warmth to the quilt.
